WPShift is a small team building the WordPress server management platform we always wanted to use ourselves. Multi-cloud, AI-assisted, and designed so a non-developer on your team can run a server portfolio confidently.

We started WPShift because the tools we used every day were either too generic, with WordPress as an afterthought, or too locked-down, hiding the server behind a managed host’s wall.

We wanted the dashboard of a managed host with the freedom of bring-your-own-cloud. Pick the provider, pick the region, pick the size. Pay your cloud directly. Keep the operations layer human.

We also wanted a tool a non-developer teammate could use without pulling someone off real work. That is why the AI Copilot exists. Ask Copilot to provision a server, edit a DNS record, or run a WP-CLI command. It executes the operation, on the platform, with a full audit trail.

WPShift is what we built. It is the platform we run our own sites on, and the one we recommend to friends running agencies. Today it is in Public Beta, with the team shipping multiple times a week.

How we think about building this.

    WordPress is the work

    Every screen in WPShift assumes you are running WordPress. We do not bolt WordPress onto a generic platform. We start from how operators actually run sites and design backwards.

    Bring your own cloud, or use ours

    You should not be locked into our metal. Run on WPShift Cloud for the simplest path, or connect DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, Linode, AWS EC2, or Google Cloud and pay them directly. We charge for the management layer.

    Built so non-developers can use it

    Servers are technical, but managing WordPress should not be. Anyone in a small agency should be able to use WPShift. The AI Copilot exists so the technical bits do the work themselves when you ask.

    No feature gating between plans

    Every plan gets the full toolset on day one. Plans differ in how many servers, sites, domains, and inboxes you can run, not in what you can do with them.
